Aster's
Shanghai & China experiences.
May
and June 2006 I exhibited in China for the first time. The exhibit
was organised by Qingdao artist Wang Qi,
a succesful Chinese artist who works in Shanghai and Qingdao. Wang Qi
and I organize exhibitions for each other, each in our own country. For
2007 I have been invited by the Shanghai Academy of Art, to lecture
about ideomotor effect, automatic writing and drawing and present my
work with an exhibition to its students and teachers.
Obviously I am trying to take dr.
Vladimir Sivitsky with me, who will present the scientific part of
the lecture. Also, I mean to show the works of Anton
Heyboer, Nicholas
Socrates, Randy,
Joel
Biroco, John
C. Wilson, Michael
Bevis, Gregory
von Seewald and this man can be produced to perform live on stage,
mr. Yagihashi
Tsukasa.
Aster (keeps
dreaming) may work on Supercomputer Aster soon!
Since
2000 I have gradually postponed making angeldrawings. My work had
reached a level that could not easily be topped and other
responsibilities did not permit me to live the secluded life of an
ideomotor angel drawing artist. I left my regular drawing work in 2003,
did some research into the subject of ideomotorics and started the
angel-drawing webpage in 2005. But I left the works with one idea only,
to once be allowed to work and draw on a supercomputer. Ideomotor energy
needs to be expressed inside a hollow, multidimensional sphere. The
drawings I make are graphical, 2 dimensional images. Working on a
superco
mputer
allows me to draw inside a space in which one could travel. Not possible
a few years ago, 2007 may connect me to a supercomputer yet! It's name ?
