The
website
First of all, allow me to share my enthousiasm with
you about creating the website itself, without giving you the feeling
that I am trying to sell you a sitesell registration. I built the first
version of the site over february, march and april. Look at the way the
site is steadily developing now. www.angel-drawing.com
is already inside the top 1% of global websites. Not bad for an artist!

London
Raw Arts Festival
From 14th – 22nd may I
exhibited at the London Raw
Arts Festival. It was the first time for me and the second time the
artshow was organised. I studied in London at the International
Filmschool from 1977-1979 and had never returned so it was great to
spend some time in the city again. The artshow was a tremendous
experience. Over 75 artists
from all around the globe were showing their work. Raw art, outsider art
or art brût are denominations of a fast growing art movement which
defines itself best as ‘self thought’ and ‘no art tuition’. Have

will be up. The festival was well promoted and drew a lot of attention.

Rabbi
Moses Maimonides about angels
Rabbi Moses Maimonides is one of the great
inspirators of www.angel-drawing.com.
I hope to work on some Maimonides pages soon and explain in greater
detail about the cause of automatic drawing, transcendental ideomotor
automatism or TIA and how this subject relates to the concept of Angels
as explained by Maimonides.
Maimonides touched ideas that we now see back in quantum theories:
‘Angels are changeable in form; they appear one time as females, at
another as males. Now as spirits, now as Angels.’ By this remark it
is clearly stated that Angels are incorporeal, and have no permanent
bodily form independent of the mind (of one who perceives them). They
exist entirely in prophetic
vision, and depend on the action of the imaginative power,…”
an active power … a devine force that operates on its own,
expressing itself by means of ideomotor effect and its aspect automatic
drawing

Heyboer Dies
Uncrowned
King of Angel Drawing Anton
Heyboer died on april 9th 2005. Yvette, Evanne and me
went to his funeral
and bought an artwork at his gallery on that day. In my view the
Indonesia born Dutch artist actually lived the art of spiritual
communication, of automatism together with his 4 wives, Maria, Lotti,
Marike and Joke. The man was permanently transcendent and lucidly so he
was fully aware that he had reached the highest possible form of active
enlightenment, consciously living love and existing in a state of
insanity which he meant to escape doing art.
